ever since i can remember, i’ve absolutely adored tim burton. i love how he takes the weird and wacky and makes it seem not all that weird anymore, showing how fundamentally everyone just needs to love and be loved. his films have made me feel like less of an outsider; like there’s someone out there that understands me. i do think that his more recent work has declined a bit in quality (except for sweeney todd), but i’ll always love his classic work. i’m also a big fan of stanley kubrick, as you could probably tell from when i was talking about a clockwork orange a little while ago.
as for actors and actresses, i guess i couldn’t say i love tim burton and not say that i love johnny depp. i went through a pretty long phase in which i watched almost every single movie of his. i guess you could say i was obsessed, haha. other actors that are just as gorgeous as they are talented, in my opinion, are ewan mcgregor, cillian murphy, christian bale, and david tennant, among others. as for favorite actresses, i’ve always loved angelina jolie, winona ryder, and natalie portman.
